Increasing Popularity Of Asian Chilli Sauces

Asian food is world known to be spicy but tasty at the same time. People love Asian food and its condiments especially chilli sauces. These sauces are popular all around the world and can be used as a condiment or an ingredient to make a specific dish.

One of the prominent sauces broadly utilized as a part of Thai food is known as the Nam Chim which is a fiery Thai plunging sauce. Its a delicious mix of bean stew peppers, lemon juice, garlic, fish sauce, sugar and shrimp glue. The taste is authentic to the point that you'll experience passionate feelings for it. The consistency of this sauce is somewhat watery not thick but rather it doesn't taste watery by any means.

Nam Chim is usually served with raw fresh vegetables or it can also be served with grilled seafood and other types of meats. As opposed to other sauces, this particular sauce has to be made fresh every time so you won't find it on the supermarket shelves. People either make it in their homes or you could find it in Asian restaurants served with variety of different dishes.

Another great tasting dipping sauce is the Nuoc Cham which is a Vietnamese dipping sauce, this is a fish sauce based condiment. Although it isn't necessarily very spicy on its own but to add a touch of spice, chopped fresh green chillies are added to it. Its a mixture of vinegar, sugar water and fish sauce. In Vietnam, this is regarded as a dipping sauce that goes well with fried foods whereas in other countries like Singapore and Malaysia, it is used in cooking as well.

Sambal Oelek, which was originally derived from Indonesia is now popular all around the world. There are many countries widely manufacturing bottle versions of their own. Traditionally, all ingredients are mashed up in a stone mortar but the production or large scale means, the ingredients are mashed up in big machines. The common ingredients used include red peppers, garlic, lime, sugar and salt.

Indonesian condiments are hitting the market in a popular manner and another variety that is becoming people's favorite is Sambal Teraso. Again, all the ingredients are mashed up to form a paste using a traditional mortar and the ingredients used are shrimp paste, shallots, garlic, lemon juice, sugar and salt. The shrimp paste adds a very pungent taste to this sauce.

A well recognized sauce in almost every single Vietnamese restaurant is the Sriracha sauce. Although the ingredients used to make it are almost the same as Sambal Oelek but once all the ingredients are crushed down, they are then passed through a sieve to make the sauce look smoother in appearance and seedless. It is one of the most favorite sauces all around the world.

A conventional Thai sauce basically utilized as a dip with variety of dishes is the sweet Thai stew sauce. When contrasted with different other sauces, this sauce may not taste that zesty but rather the sweet and hot mix does make it a winner among the rest. It is effortlessly accessible in stores and markets all across the glove.
