The decision about writing about edibles on your blog is, of course, not the last decision to be made. You might want to write about your own meals and how you prepare them. The correct pairings of food with an appropriate drink may bring some interested readers.

Another decision will be to identify from what perspective you will be writing. You might write from your own perspective about what is good and what should be done with what. You might also use this time to review what is done in local restaurants. Making your own rating system will help people understand more of what you are trying to tell them as you compare food, preparation, atmosphere or various treatments for different items.
